Mark your calendars! Perimeter and Gertrude are thrilled to present the fourth edition of Same Page Art Book Fair, taking place October 24–25, 2026.
Hosted annually since 2023 in Naarm Melbourne, Same Page brings together a select network of imprints, publishers, and distributors who share a commitment to supporting artists, writers, and thinkers. Alongside a curated selection of stalls, Same Page also features public programs and book launches all weekend.
Perimeter and Gertrude respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which Same Page operates, and we acknowledge that this land is unceded. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Same Page is free to attend, no ticket required.
Gertrude Contemporary is fully wheelchair accessible. For ramp access please ring the doorbell at the sliding door entrance, located to the left of the main entrance. Ambulant toilet and baby change facilities available.
All panels, talks, and signings are free to attend and reservations are not required.
Bookings are required to participate for certain Same Page workshops with limited capacity, with a small fee ($12) charged to reserve your spot. Kids and Adults on the Same Page is free to attend, with no reservations required.

Founded in 2011, Perimeter Books stocks a selective range of independently published books, editions and zines spanning photography, art, theory, text and the more lateral ends of design and architecture. The store also curates an active program of exhibitions, talks, launches, workshops and consultations, and co-presents Same Page Art Book Fair with Gertrude Contemporary (Melbourne), and Volume: Another Art Book Fair with Printed Matter Inc. (NY) and Artspace (Sydney). In 2012, Perimeter launched its in-house publishing imprint Perimeter Editions, which has since gone on to publish more than one hundred titles, winning several awards and exhibiting at key art book fairs in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Perimeter Editions also publishes two biennial book prizes – the Perimeter Small Book Prize and the PHOTO x Perimeter International Photobook Prize. Perimeter Distribution, the business’s wholesale arm, began trade in 2013, and now represents some of the world’s leading independent photography, art, design and theory publishers. Perimeter Distribution is also the Australian/NZ sales agent for global Amsterdam-based distribution house Idea Books.
Perimeter has curated various outposts and libraries for institutions, galleries and spaces, including Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP), Book Coffee Print Work Shop, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, StandardX Hotel, and The Commons in Melbourne; Hotel Hotel and Nishi Gallery in Canberra; and the Institute of Modern Art (IMA) in Brisbane.

Gertrude enables creative and professional development in its strong community of arts practitioners through the studio program and the exhibition program, run across two venues. Artists are connected to Gertrude’s diverse audience through the exhibition program, education workshops and public programs. This nexus between art practitioners and audience is essential to all of Gertrude's activities.
Gertrude is assisted by the Visual Arts, Craft and Design Framework, an initiative of the Australian, State and Territory Governments; and the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
From the city the Number 86 tram travels along Bourke Street, up Spring Street and then all the way up High Street to the Preston South gallery. Alight at Stop 42, Miller Street and look for the Gertrude Contemporary sign, you can't miss it.
Train
Alight at Thornbury Station, walk north along Ethel Street, turn right on Miller Street, and then left on to High Street. The gallery is 4-5 minutes walk from the station.
Drive
Free street parking is available on High St, Plenty Rd, and surrounding side streets. Please check signs for time limits and restrictions.
